Future Day 2018

November 12, 2018

What does Dad actually do?

He leaves in the morning and comes back in the evening. And in between? What does Dad do at work? And where does Mum work? In 2018, PLASTON once again took part in the National Future Day and opened its doors to employees’ children.

Every square metre at PLASTON in Widnau has something to marvel at: the huge machines, the high-bay warehouse, the vast quantities of plastic pellets processed every day and the products made from them. Many children from fifth to seventh grade took the opportunity offered by Future Day 2018.

“At PLASTON we open our doors a little wider than other companies perhaps do,” says Human Resources Manager Claudia Wetter. “We not only welcome our employees’ children, they may also bring along children of relatives and friends.”

The girls and boys who take part get an insight into their father’s or mother’s work. They also get an idea of what they could learn when they are older. And after the day at PLASTON they know that every profession is open to them, whether they are a girl or a boy.
